Beef Curry Pies

Beef Curry Pies, Yum!!!  Some people hate leftovers, I love them!!!!  they make the quickest easiest meals ever!!!   All the hard work and prep is already done, all that is required is a little imagination.

We had guests for dinner the other night and I made Malay Beef Curry.  I don’t know about you but, I was taught by my wonderful mum to ALWAYS have too much rather than not enough, you DO NOT want guests leaving your home hungry!!

So of course we had left over beef curry! yes of course you can just heat it up and have the same meal two nights in a row, but I’m not really into doing that, I like it to feel as if I have made something completely different (albeit the flavours are the same)

So it was out with the puff pastry and Beef Curry Pies were on the menu, you can make individual pies as I have done or just make one big pie, the choice is yours.

Notes –  This recipe was created using left over curry, you can make it just for the pies but it is a very long process as you have to cook the beef curry mix in the slow cooker for 6-8 hours and then allow to cool before placing in your pastry shell

Cook time is only if you decide not to use leftover curry and make the pies from scratch
