Perfect Poached Eggs
 
Ingredients
  • eggs
  • 2 x tablespoons of malt vinegar
  • water
Instructions
  1. Get a pan and fill it ⅔rd full of water, just enough to cover the eggs once you put them in.
  2. Put the pan on the element and turn up to high. Add a splash of malt vinegar (about 2 tablespoons) and give it a stir.
  3. Wait for the water to boil then turn the heat down to medium so the water is just gently simmering.
  4. Crack the egg and then place into the water, try to get the egg as close to the water as possible when putting it in(without burning your fingers), the less the egg has to fall into the water the better. Repeat if you are doing multiple eggs.
  5. Boil/simmer on medium heat for 4 minutes, no more no less, the timing is critical. Once the time is up remove them from the water with a slotted spoon , done! you now have the perfect REAL yummy egg.
